It's seldom that I "repost" anything, but this video is too amazing to not share:
Not too long ago, one of my co-workers and I had quite an interesting problem: we needed to check every checkbox on a web form that had hundreds of checkboxes[footnote]1[/footnote]. If there had only been a few, we'd just go through and manually check each one; however, because of the sheer quantity and the time needed to actually check each box, we needed to find a faster way to get the job done.
We decided to use jQuery's excellent selecting capabilities to check all of the boxes on the current page; however, there was one major problem with this solution: jQuery was not available on the page.
If you're on Facebook, or probably any other social media, you've probably seen or heard about the "No Gas Day" event. After thinking about it for a whole 3 seconds, I can firmly say: "what a dumb idea."
I've been trying to achieve this for a while: I'm finally number one (again) in a Google search for my own name.
If you remember, I had a little accident with Joy's MacBook earlier this year. Well, since then, she's bought a refurbished MacBook Pro, so we no longer need the MacBook.
A few notes before I get started with specs and the like:
For those of you that may have seen one of my latest tweets, you'll know that I was drastically over-charged for my last electric bill. Well, here's an update on the story.
This is the bill I received last week:
I received this from a friend, and have been trying to purpose it for something; the problem is, I can't figure out what to do with it!
It's still in great condition (from what I've used of it):

I am looking to sell my Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP 19 inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor. After purchasing a new 27" iMac, I no longer have a need for this monitor. It's still in excellent condition, and is only about a year old.
[update]This item has been sold![/update]
I am looking to sell our current media center, a mid-2007 Mac Mini (model A1176).
